SWISSAIR TO OPERATE HALF OF THE FLIGHTS SCHEDULE TODAY
ZURICH, Swissair said it should operate half of the normal schedule today. "In all 235 flights are planned, around half the schedule" a spokesman for the carrier said. The former subsidiary Crossair would run 98 flights on Swissair's behalf. Finance Minister Kaspar Villiger told parliament that the airline could need more short-term cash injection to stay alive.
