AIR CANADA TO ELIMINATE 6000 WORKERS
MONTREAL, Air Canada would announce today the dismissal of as many as 6,000 more employees, said the Financial Post. The airline is also expected to ground up to 60 of its 243 aircrafts. Air Canada is to meet today with its unions to find ways to save at least 20% of labour costs.
