AER LINGUS FACES LOSSES OF £60 MILLION
DUBLIN, Irish Aer Lingus is facing total losses of £60 m due to the terrorist acts hitting Usa. The airline's board is considering cutting the number of long-haul flights to stem the losses and job cuts seem to be inevitable. In addition, the carrier may ask the government to intervene with a rescue package.
