RUSSIA LOST 23 HELICOPTERS IN CHECHNYA
MOSCOW, Russian agencies reported 23 helicopters were shot down in the combats in Chechnya in last year. It is an hard blow for russian forces. The helicopters shot down by chechnya rebels are 11 Mil Mi-24, combat helicopters and 12 Mi Mi-8, multi task means, particularly used to transport troops and for tactical support.
