VARIG TO PROVIDE INTERNET SERVICE ON FLIGHT BY THE END OF THE YEAR

ROME, Brazilian Varig will provide an internet connection service on six B777 of its fleet by the end of 2001, following an agreement signed with Tenzig Communications Inc. Passengers will be enabled to connect their laptops to Matsushita MAS 3000, the onboard software provided by the airline, which will be logged to Tenzig Global Network.
