LOT CLOSES IN RED

MILANO, The Polish airline Lot has closed its first six months of year 2001 with a net loss of 65,7 EURm. The carrier, which is owned by Swissair Group by 37,6%, will try to recover losses cutting about a 20% of its job. Also Swissair, the main airline of the group, suffered heavy losses.
