QANTAS APPOINTS AUSTRALIAN AIRLINES' NEW CEO
AUSTRALIA, Denis Adams, Qantas' executive general manager of marketing, was appointed ceo for the new carrier that Qantas will launch next year, Australian Airlines. "We expect to operate these services out of a number of Australian cities", said Geoff Dixon, Qantas ceo. The airline will also take over some current unprofitable Qantas routes.
