CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES' PROFITS FALL IN FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR
CHINA, China Eastern Airlines announced a 65,5% fall in net profit in the first half, compared wuth the same period last year. Turnover went up 8,7%. Traffic volume increased 13,2%. The airline said the the global economic slowdown and the rise of fuel price heavily affected the results.
