LUFTHANSA TO CUT SOME ROUTES
FRANKFURT, German Lufthansa announced it is to reduce some transoceanic routes soon. Other flights will be cancelled. Two weekly flights to New York are to be suspended, while the services to Bogota, Rio and Uzbekistan will be cancelled. The airline explained that the decision is due to the reduction of passenger numbers on these routes caused by the weakening of global economy.
