NEW ZEALAND GROUNDS FIVE BELL UH-1H HELICOPTERS

WELLINGTON, The New Zealand air force has grounded five of its Bell UH-1H Iroquois after cracks were discovered in the blade on a helicopter during a routine inspection. The air force said in a statement "this type of defect has never been seen before". Three other helicopters in New Zealand were also grounded waiting known about the cause of the defect, the air force said.
