VIRGIN EXPRESS SET TO BREAK EVEN BY THE END OF THE YEAR

BRUSSELS, Low-cost airline Virgin Express said in a statement that it's set to break even in 2001 thanx to the return to profitability in the second quarter of the year. In that period, the airline reached net profits for 2,1 million euros, compared with a loss of 6,4 million euros in the same period last year. Load factors rose to 90% from 73%.
