DELTA FLIGHT FORCED TO LAND AT TOKYO FOR COCKPIT SMOKE

TOKYO, JAPAN, A Delta Air Lines flight, a MD-11 aircraft with 216 passengers and 14 crew on board, en route from Nagoya to Los Angeles, made an emergency landing at Tokyo's Narita airport, due to cockpit smoke reported by pilots. After being inspected. the plane was reported to have continued its flight to destination.
