AIR NEW ZEALAND WON'T SELL ITS STAKE IN AIR NEW ZEALAND

SINGAPORE, Singapore Airlines' chief executive Cheong Choong Kong has said the airline will not sell its stake in Air New Zealand. Australian Qantas was hoping to buy that stake and then sell the New Zealand carrier's subsidiary, Ansett, back to Singapore Airlines. ABC News reported there was no point considering such a deal.
