CHINA NORTHERN AIRLINES PLANE IN RUNWAY SCRAPE

TOKYO, The left wing of a China Northern Airlines jetliner yesterday touched the ground while landing at Tagoya airport. The incident broke the landing lights of the wing. The runway was closed for few minutes to clean up fragments of the wing lights. None of the some 50 passengers was hurt. Authorities said the incident was due to crosswinds.
