BUSH PICKS NEW AIR FORCE CHIEF OF STAFF
WASHINGTON, President Bush nominated Gen. John P. Jumper to become the next Air Force chief of staff. Jumper, 56, is currently commander of Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base. His nomination has to be confirmed by the Senate.
