SABENA RELEASES FIRST SIX MONTHS RESULTS
BRUSSELS, Belgian airline Sabena flew 9.4 billion RPKs from January to June 2001, down 0,3% from the previous year. ASKs decreased 3% and load factor rose by 1,9% to 68,6%. Christoph Mueller, Sabena's ceo and president, said to be confident that the second half will show better results in terms of passengers and load factor, also thanks to the agreement between Swissair and the belgian state.
