VANGUARD AIRLINES REPORTS JUNE TRAFFIC

KANSAS CITY, "Vanguard Airlines, Inc. reported traffic for the month of June 2001 of 97.5 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs). Capacity was 130.1 million available seat miles (ASMs). June load factor was 75.0 percent, the highest ever reported by Vanguard. As compared to June of last year, load factor increased 11.3 points from 63.7 percent.
