BRITISH EUROPEAN SIGNS CONTRACT WITH BAE

LONDON, British European, confirming an MOU signed last March, has signed a definitive contract with BAe Systems for up to 20 Avro RJX-100s. The order is valued at $600 million. The aircrafts will have two configurations, 11-seat or 100, on behalf of franchise and codeshare partner Air France. Deliveries will begin on APril 200 to continue through 2006.
