ALITALIA: BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVES MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH AIR FRANCE

ROME, Alitalia's board this morning approved a "memorandum of Understanding" to get exclusive negotiations with Air France started about a commercial agreement to be signed by the end of July. Terms of the deal won't be disclosed by now. Francesco Mengozzi, ALitalia's ceo, was entitled to carry out the partnership talks with the french carrier.
