A Japanese spy satellite to observe North Korea
Tokyo, Japan - A second launch is scheduled next year
In order to monitor North Korean missile development activities, Japan has put into orbit a military observation satellite, launched by a H-2A missile. Tokyo has already increased its missile defense budget and deployed American Patriot missile batteries on its territory. Japan plans to launch of a second observation satellite at the beginning of next year from Tanegashima, Kyushu island. See also...
