The American industry, Lockheed Martin, has signed a contract for the upgrading of the suite sonar 2054 of the four vanguard U-boat for the launch of ballistic missiles of the Royal Navy, through the introduction of the technology for the Acoustic Rapid Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Insertion (ARCI) Programme realized by Lockheed for the upgrading of sonar of the US Navy U-boat.
