Australia: delays in deliveries of B-737 AEW&C

Canberra, Australia - The Australian Defense will receive the first unit not before 2008 beginning

Australian Defense Department announced delays in delivery of the new Wedgetail Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) airplane that is manufactured by Boeing on B-737 platform. Australia ordered several 737 AEW&C aircraft, two of which should have been delivered in July next year and four in 2008.
