Berlin, Germany - German press did not seem to give importance to the matter
No-one in Germany seem to have taken for real the idea of an alliance between Lufthansa and Alitalia (see AVIONEWS for details). Only "FinanzTreff.de" and "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" quote the matter, the former reporting Brutti’s words and the latter referring about Rutelli’s denial.
