Lecce: a P-47D Thunderbolt wreck has been found out

An Italian newspaper wrote a group of divers found out a rotor aircraft wreck at 12-meter depth off the shore of Lecce, Southern Italy. According to first analysis, it should be a P-47D Thunderbolt, a military airplane that was given to Italian Air Force by USAF in 1950 on the field of MDAP Program.
