The hijack of a Qatar Airways plane has been thwarted

Amman, Jordan - According to "Al Jazeera" TV

Arab TV "Al Jazeera" reports that an attempt to hijack an airplane of Qatar Airways headed from Amman (Jordan) to Doha (Qatar). The same source says that the hijacker is a 21-year-old Eritrean, who tried to enter cockpit shortly after lift-off, but he was stopped by crew and passengers. Then the man was arrested by Jordanian authorities after the plane return to Amman.
