8.1 million passengers for Cathay Pacific in the first six months of the year

Cathay Pacific made known data on its activity in the first semester of 2006, which showed a sensible increase compared to those of the same period last year. The carrier’s turnover rose 13.4% reaching EUR 2.87bn, while net profit remained stable at EUR 171m. From January to June 8.1 billion passengers were carried, with a 11.1% increase, while cargo growth was of 10.6%.
