Surveillance of the Baltic skies

Brussels, Belgium - NATO mission for security of air space

In the July 31, Spanish pilots have started a Nato mission for the surveillance of the skies of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, States new members of NATO and of European Union. The pilots and Officers involved are 84 and will be used four Mirage F-1. The three baltic republics have not the sufficient means to realize the surveillance of their air space.
