SAAB SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH AIRBUS FOR A380 PARTS PRODUCTION

LE BOURGET, PARIS, An agreement between French industry Airbus and Swedish Saab Aerospace, Linkoping, has been signed for the production of fixed section of the A380 air giant mid and outer wing and outer wing leading edge. The contract, worth over 1 USDbn, will last 20 years and the first pieces deliveries will take place in 2003.
