The helicopter pilot involved in Tyrol accident was condemned
Innsbruck, Austria - 9 Germans died September 5, 2005
The pilot of the helicopter which discharged a 800-kilo concrete bin on a cableway in Soelden, Tyrol, causing death to nine German skiers, was condemned by Innsbruck Court to 15 months with probation. The condemnation has not been sentenced yet, as the man asked for a pause for reflection. See also AVIONEWS about the accident.
