JAL TO ORDER BOEING PLANES

LE BOURGET-PARIS, Boeing today confirmed it has won an order for for three B777-200ER long range aircraft from Japan Airlines. The $525 million deal is based on the plane's catalogue price. Deliveries are expected between 2003 and 2006. JAL is to begin to replace the aging fleet of DC-10 aircrafts with these new planes.
