1.3 million passengers at Beirut airport

Beirut, Lebanon - +19.5% traffic compared to last year

Beirut International Airport registered a passenger traffic growth of 19.5% this year. Compared with 1.09 million from January to May 2005, the air station saw 1.3 million travellers landing and lifting off in the same period of 2006. As for May, it passed from 216,000 passengers last year to 270,000 this year.
