Iberia pilots on 7-day strike in July
Madrid, Spain - They protest against the decision to delegate domestic routes from Barcelona to a new low-cost airline
The pilots of the Spanish flag airline, Iberia, proclaimed a strike from July 10 to 16, after the failure of negotiations with the carrier’s managers about Catair, the low-cost airline which will come into force in October as an Iberia subsidiary and will serve domestic routes at "El Prat" Airport in Barcelona (see AVIONEWS for details).
