SINGAPORE AIRLINES PLANS TO RAISE ITS STAKE IN AIR NEW ZEALAND
SINGAPORE, Singapore Airlines confirmed its intention of raising its stake in Air New Zealand. The airline currently holds a 25% stake. The plan has to be approved by the government of AIr New Zealnd and by shareholders. SIA, in a statement, expained that it would increase its interest placing additional shares and it also would support a capital-raising programme by Air New Zealand.
