Flight collision between two F-16 fighters of the Italian Air Force
Cagliari, Italy - The two pilots are not injured
Two F-16 of the Italian Air Force locked horns yesterday evening offing Sardinian coast during a flight drill. The two pilots, both in service at the 37th Wing of Trapani-Birgi, are unhurt thanks to the ejector seats. The aircraft locked horns while they were engaged in the "Spring Flag 2006" (see for details AVIONEWS), a series of drills which see the partecipation also of some foreign Air Forces....
