Belfast airport named after George Best, football champion

Belfast, United Kingdom - Today he would have been 60

The ceremony which has named Belfast airport after George Best, Manchester United’s legend who died last November and who would have be 60 years old just today, has taken place today (see AVIONEWS for details). An aircraft by Flybe, a low-cost airline, has taken his name too and carries his image on its fuselage in Belfast-Manchester route.
