Kabul, Afghanistan - The Antonov-32 went out of the runway to avoid a truck
This morning a twice-engined Antonov-32 leased by an American anti-drugs agency went out of the runway of Lashkar Gah airport, ending its run against the tents of a nomad camp (see AVIONEWS). A truck crossed the runway during the aircraft landing, forcing the pilot to dodge it. The last assessment counts 5 victims, two of whom passengers on board of the plane and three inhabitants of the nomad camp...
