US F-16 CRASHES IN SOUTH KOREA
SEOUL, A US Air Force F-16 yesterday crashed in a rural area of southern South Korea, during a routine night training mission. The pilot was killed. The fighter took off from a base in Kunsan and crashed near Imsil. A korean news agency reported that the military plane hit an electricity pole and then crashed into a rice paddy exploding in flames.
