US Marines want to change their department's name
Washington, USA - Until now they have been headed by Navy Department
Marines corps, created in 1775, are one of the four corps of US Armed Forces together with Navy, Air Force and Army, but at the Pentagon they are headed by Navy Department. Now a petition has been launched on internet to change the name from Navy Department to Navy and Marines Department, in order to recognize the value of Marines, who evidently boast a large number of admirers.
