AMSTERDAM SCHIPOL: FIFTH RUNWAY TO BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF 2003
AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam Schipol airport will have its fifth runway completed by 2003. It will cost nearly £200 million. The runway should take pressure off the rest of the airport and helping it to meet noise pollution targets. Schipol airport currently employs 40.000 people and ut handled 40 million passengers last year.
