Bagdad, Iraq - 50 aircraft, 1,500 soldiers and 200 tactical vehicles on the camp
Yesterday the US Command in Iraq launched the biggest offensive by the end of the war on April 2003. The battle is in progress in Samarra’s zone, 100 km North from Iraqi capital, and sees the engagement of 50 aircraft, 1,500 American and Iraqi soldiers and 200 tactical vehicles.
