2005 ACI account: 4 billion passengers in world airports

Geneva, Switzerland - The report on world air transport registers a 6% growth

Yesterday Geneva-based ACI (Airports Council International) published several numbers on air transport. Passengers passing through world air stations were totally about 4 billion, 6% up on 2004. Travellers on international flights totalled 1.6 billion (+8%), while cargo movements increased by 3%.
