France and UK will develop together new aircraft-carriers

Innsbruck, Austria - Agreement signed by the two Defence Ministers

Yesterday the Defence Ministers of France and UK Michèle Alliot-Marie and John Reid signed a cooperation agreement to develop new aircraft-carriers. The signature happened at Innsbruck, during the informal meeting of the European Defence Ministers. The project forecasts the realization of two British aircraft-carriers and of a French one: the two countries will try to put in common the research costs....
