Emergency for a Northwest Airlines' aircraft
Okinawa, Japan - Because of smoke in the cockpit
On February 25 on a Northwest Airlines’ Boeing 747 took off from Hong Kong to Los Angeles, after the take off, some smoke radiated: the reasons should be due to a leak of oil from the engine of the left wing. Nobody of the 368 passengers on board were injured. The aircraft’s captain, reported the problem, decided an emergency landing at Okinawa airport, Japan.
