Batu Berendam Airport: the enlargement's works of the Malay airport will begin in March

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - The runways to be extended and enlarged and a new passengers' terminal will be built

Thanks to the enlargement’s works and extension of the runways of Batu Berendam’s international airport, also greater aircraft like B-737 and A-320 could land and take off, while now only Fokker airplanes use the Malay airport. The works should begin next March and complete within the end of 2008. The cost of the reconstruction is about USD 32m.
