Nato meeting (3): Martino Italian minister opens

Taormina, Italy - The small town is a cultural crossroad, the right place to talk about democracy

During his opening talk of Nato’s two-days Sicilian meeting, Italian Minister of Defense, Antonio Martino, underlined that Taormina is the right place to talk about democracy, for its historical past crossroad of cultures in the Mediterranean Sea. The Italian minister added that meeting is very important for the future of Alliance.
