Iata: slow increase for air trade transport

Geneva, Switzerland - Data concerning 2005

The International Air Transport Association, IATA, has showed yesterday its 2005 data. Despite of a growth of passenger traffic of 7.6%, air freight grew only of the 3.2%. For IATA air freight growth is an important indicator of the health of world trade. The situation should improve during 2006 with a predicted growth of 5-6%.
