Lybia sentenced for the attempt to UTA DC-10 in Teneré
Paris, France - A compensation worth over EUR 4.5 million
Six terrorists authors of the attempt and Lybia have been sentenced by Paris court to reimburse more than EUR 3.5m to the families of the UTA DC-10 victims, the plane exploded in Niger sky crashing on Teneré desert in September 1989. 170 people were killed and now the attempters, who have been already sentenced to life in default in 1999 (see for details AVIONEWS), have to pay the 245 relatives more...
