"Philippine Airlines has signed a firm order with Airbus for nine A-320s, plus options for other five, as part of a long term plan to modernize its fleet. In addition, carrier will buy in leasing two A-320 and other two A-319 from GE Capital Aviation Services. Deliveries will start in the second half of 2006 and to continue until 2012.
