French Government said yes for air ticket's tax
Paris, France - Parliamentary approval is now expected
The Government of Paris has approved the plan introducing a new tax on air tickets to increase aid for the poor nations (see for details AVIONEWS). The tax, which needs parliamentary approval, will add EUR 1 to the cost of continental economy class tickets and EUR 4 for longer routes. Business and first-class passengers should pay an extra EUR 10 to fly in Europe and EUR 40 for transcontinental flights....
