easyJet: 2005 profits achieved GBP 68m

London, United Kingdom - The airline communicated it by a statement

easyJet closed 2005 financial year with pretax profits up by 9%, by 11% in the second half, to GBP 68m. Revenue achieved GBP 1341.4m, up 23% compared with the previous tax year. Passenger numbers up 21% to 29.6m with load factor improved to 85.2% from 84.5%. Total revenue per seat was up 2% to GBP 38.66.
